So my current setup will be:
Lap Steel Guitar
>>>Hum Debugger
>>> EHX Volume Pedal >>>Peterson Stroboplus tuner
>>>Boss ME 25 (effects pedal)
>>>Vox VTX amp (with amp modelling)>>>Footswitch for amp modelling changes
Based on the equipment is there a "better" setup order is this ideal.
Also what are the recommended pedal board options you guys think? _________________ Stefan

I don't use a volume pedal, so I would have the tuner first.
Everything else looks fine. _________________ Four Pettingills and a Clinesmith Aluminum. Fender Blues Junior. Quilter Mini-101. |

I usually put the Hum Debugger last in my chain. And honestly, I don't know if that's better or worse than first. But other than that, I wouldn't change anything. |

Me too. I would not make it a permanent installation on a pedal board. Because it's only used as a last resort and it uses its own unique power supply, I set it on top of, or in front of the amp on the floor, and hook it up only when necessary. |

With Pedal Steel, I don't use anything but Reverb and occasionally a Carbon Copy delay. For guitar, I run into a Korg Pitchblack tuner, Keeley Compressor Pro, Keeley Red Dirt Overdrive, MXR Carbon Copy, and an old Ibanez chorus mounted in an old flight type case.

Excellent advice guys but doesn't the Hum debugger work at the front better?
And also offers true Bypass when OFF. So essentially can be at the front and only when needed will it be activated.
"FOOTSWITCH - Toggles the Hum Debugger between active and True Bypass modes."
- from their site.
Any advice as to Pedalboard type and Velcor/Zip Ties or whatever. _________________ Stefan

I use a volume pedal that has a direct output. i.e. its for a tuner so its output is never affected by the volume pedal.
So that's why I have it connected directly to the volume pedal. _________________ Stefan

Not sure how it is over there but over the pond some gigs in bars are in really old buildings with rubbish electrics. So I would say I have to use it 50 - 60% of the time over here. _________________ Stefan
