Black and bare are ground, red is the hot lead. White and green, tie together and don’t hook to anything. Put some electrical tape over them so they do not short out. |

Roger is correct on the wiring.. Just make sure you solder the connections or you might have some problems. just a hint!!! |

Paul, if you like the single coil sound from time to time, put the white/green pair on one side of a simple SPST switch, and the other side to ground.
The 705 will be a good bit thinner and twangier than, say, a Truetone, but if you like the old honky-tonk twang, one coil of a 705 will give you chills. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

Thanks for the tip Lane, I might try that, although I really like the sound of the 705 this is the 3rd guitar since 1978 I've used the 705 on..Dekley, Emmons and GFI. Good thought thanks..PC |
