Robert,
I took the controls off the MSA S10 I bought from you. I really don't think you'll see any improvement if you put them back on but if you really want to, get ahold of Tom Bradshaw. He'll help you out with parts and advice.

I love MSA steels, but the tone and volume cobtrols are a waste of time on a pedal steel, and they are kind of flimsy to boot... bob |

I never saw a need for volume and tone controls on steels either. We're almost always sitting next to our amps, and the controls do color the sound.

actually i'm glad that you guys see it that way. i really don't want to go to the trouble and expence of putting them back on. just don't want to hurt the value of the steel any. |
