I recently altered my original Tonemaster by installing a concentric tone/ volume pot to move the tone pot away from my picking/ blocking hand. I was surprised to find a small capacitor on the original volume pot, as well as the expected capacitor between the 2 pots. The original electronics worked great, so I just hooked the new pots up like the original. Still works great, but what is the small capacitor on the volume pot for?
