Yes, but not nearly as in depth as it covers standard guitars. It's not of the caliber of his Fender book, but it's very good indeed.

Yes, as Jack posted it does cover steels. Not in extreme depth, but I have yet to find one better on Rickenbacker Steels. If someone knows of a better book on Rickenbacker Steels, please post the title as I would like to get a copy.

Hi All,

You can read the book on line via Google books here
https://books.google.com.au/books/about/The_History_of_Rickenbacker_Guitars.html?id=NlscjoFVcs0C&redir_esc=y
You can also learn from the Rickenbacker Resource Forum here:-
http://www.rickresource.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=26id=NlscjoFVcs0C&redir_esc=y
The Rickenbacker Steels sub-forum is moderated by Richard Shatz, a very well informed and helpful Rickenbacker fan and member of this forum.

And from 1999 Some other info from another member, Brad Bechtel:-
http://www.rickresource.com/rrp/datingsteels.html
And of course Brad's Page of Steel:-
https://www.well.com/~wellvis/steel.html

If you want some pics :-
http://rickenbackeroutfits.blogspot.com.au/
and:-
http://rickenbackerlapsteels.blogspot.com.au/

I hope this helps.

Mick
