I have liked this song since Pat Boone had a hit on it. This is my simple version of it, but it lays nicely on the steel I think. Feel free to make corrections or suggestions. BTW this is for 8 string with G on top, but easily adapts for 6 string C6th. Thanks.

Being an old Bluegrasser, this has been one of my favorites since Mac Wiseman recorded it in 1957. It's great in G tuning on dobro if you're into bluegrass. Here's the original Mac Wiseman version. You'll have to make your own dobro part. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGEiuk-IDGQ |

Mac Wiseman has always been one of my favorite singers...a real folky type of voice and I loved it ! Thanks for posting that and reminding me. _________________ Zum Encore, Remington D8 non pedal, Hallmark Mosrite clone, Gretsch 6120 DSW, Gretsch G5210T-P90 Electromatic Jet Two 90,1976 Ibanez L5, Eastman archtop, Taylor Dreadnaught, Telonics pedal, Squire Tele, Squire Strat, Fender Tonemaster, Gold Tone 5 string banjo, Little Wonder tenor banjo, 3 Roland cubes 30s and 80, Carvin combo bass amp |
