I'm posting this for a friend and fellow church member.
Recently deceased player used this Fender Precision Bass In bands years ago and has stored it in his home for over 40 years. Serial number indicates 1962, pre-CBS.
Original finish was stripped and repainted with clear varnish. Still trying to find missing clam-shell and pickup covers and thumb rest, which were removed by deceased owner.
Electronics and pots all appear original. Original hardshell case, with black leather end-bands and white piping. See picture.
