Am I the only steel nut that does this or is there a surfeit of us ?

Is that a Fender 400, Basil? I think so because the items lying on it are also yours. The strings for "the Pedal Guitar" must be vintage too. Still unused? Great stuff!

I'm guilty of saving "case candy". Here's some too, from my Show Pro, Martin guitar and well, it isn't exactly a Fender watch, however, it's case candy nonetheless. Shocked

Hi Joachim, nope, it's my Fender 1000. The 400 would be a single 8..I do have one of those also but rarely post pictures of it, because :-

The only case candy I'd like to have is a sturdy set of wheels on the case from those D-10s. Smile Steve

Cool stuff, Bas, with that watch.
All I've got in my bass case is an '80's Fender jersey that I use to polish the baby.

But I don't agree, Joachim, love the color of Baz' 1000, and the color of your Tele is to die or sigh for.
Beautiful trinkets and a beauty of a cactus-borne Bigsby, Chas.

Did any of our members ever use those Fender nylon tapewound strings? I never knew those were made for pedal steel.

The thing is, It doesn't actually say Nylon Tapewound .. It says Pure Nickle Wrap.. I think the core has nylon tape on it and then Nickel Wrap..

That's not an alteration is it? Looks like the serial number has been crossed out and another one written in.
