Well ok, to clarify, I am on a business trip in Rancho Bernado, CA, somewhere amongst the unbelieveable traffic volumes experienced between LA and San Diego. Anticipating sleeplessness, I had two of Andy's books delivered to a friend who is fairly local. Of course, I brought a lap steel with me.
I ordered "C6th Gold" and "Arrangements in B11 Tuning" from Andy and having just gone through the first song of the former, I am really impressed about:
the variety of the songs covered - there is something for everyone and ...
the quality of the arrangement; the voicings and so on - honestly, if you are at least a hobby player looking to grow, you will get a lot out of all these arrangements.
the layout and ease of use of these books.
Great work Andy!
Shipping costs make projects like Andy's expensive to bring to Europe but if you are a US resident, I thoroughly recommend investing in these. I am limited to how much I can physically carry back but there are some other Forum members' works that I'll be checking out for future trips.
