I celebrate the return of the incredible John Buffington to this years Oklahoma Steel Guitar Assn show . Friday May 26 and Saturday May 27 .

In years past , John featured the Country Classics on his time slot and we are working on presenting a reunion of the same .

2017 will be John's the first year back since 2008 so I promise you a great time .

In the meantime , you can see John along with Hayden Bramlett , Harold Blake , Don Parker , Will Clark , and myself every second and fourth Saturday of every month in Collinsville Ok at Heron's Crown Opry .... Back When Country Was Country is the Band name and describes what you'll hear.....nothing but good traditional Country . The Theater is located in downtown Collinsville . Come be with us !!!!!

Thank you Larry for the honorable mention. If scheduling works out, as you indicated Country Classics will, once again be at the OSGA show, with an added treat, Dustin Terry. This young man is a show stopper for sure and definitely needs to be heard and appreciated for his continued contribution to traditional Country Music. I am certain, the audiences with not be disappointed in this fine new talent.

And Cousin Larry bring your bass guitar too. I am looking forward to playing but even more hear others and see old friends. I look forward to meeting John Buffington and making some new friends as well. I have not seen Tony Tipton in two years so it will be good to see him again. I wonder if there will be a jam room?

John I have heard nothing but good about you. My only concern is you know Larry Lange. Just kidding. Larry is a top notch guy and I am proud to be friends with him. I thank you for the kind words and look forward to meeting you. Anyone cousin Larry mentions has to be a great guy.

I was able to talk to Wayne this morning and things are really shaping up and coming together . This is bound to be an unforgettable show.....new guys i.e. Haley Bagwell and Dustin Terry . I've heard so many great things about Dustin...it seems that the acorn hasn't fallen very far from the tree {John Terry} and Haylie....what a sweet heart , only 30 years old and able to belt out traditional country music with the absolute best of them....if you like Tammy , Susee Boggus ,Price , Watson ,Charlie Walker......Merle ,Street ,Price , etc , you're in for a treat .

On top of all this , look out , here comes John Buffington and the Country Classics for the first time since 2008 . This was the cherry on the cake in years past and hence the excitement for May 26 and 27 in beautiful Broken Arrow , Ok . All I can say is cinch up your belts and get ready for the highlight convention at O S G A {Oklahoma} . 1800 So Main Street , Broken Arrow , Ok

In reference to Dustin Terry...YouTube, iTUnes, CDs? If I can guide folks to a reference to hear his music, that would be a good selling factor for the convention tickets.

Is that clown that is so stinking funny going to be there playing? He usually wears sunglasses and shaves his head, has an ear ring in one ear, plays the heck out of a MSA 12 string. He usually has this beautiful red head that sings too. I think he said once that she's a christian poll dancer.

He's one crazy dude, but I love to see his show. What's his name?
