Are the tuning pans on Fender Stringmasters and Professionals interchangeable? The new Kluson replacements say they are for Stringmasters. _________________ "Don't be mad honey, but I bought another one" |

The Stringmaster tuning pans are a lot different than the Dual Professional pans , perhaps you could make them work , but they would not be a drop in replacement. Stringmasters also had separate nuts , while the Dual Professionals nuts were an integral part of the tuning pan, as I recall. |

These new pans won't fit the early Stringmasters either. |

Yes, they are only direct replacements for the 22.5" and 24.5" stringmasters (and "Stringmaster style" single necks) and the 400 and 1000 model pedal steels. |
