Tailpiece for 8 string 50s Fender Pro / Deluxe (trap) ?

Does anyone have a suggestion or lead on replacing a tailpiece on a 1950s Fender Professional / Deluxe steel?

I don't know anyone that could fabricate one or what that would cost, and tracking down a part seems like quite the goose chase. Anyone got an idea where to start?

How would you go about getting this thing functional?

Look on the Facebook â€œFender Non Pedal Steelâ€ page. A guy there just posted that he has tailpieces for trap pickup Fenders.
