I lower my E's on RKL. I'm not exactly sure what has occurred but I am having trouble getting my E's to drop enough to be in tune. They come pretty close but are still a tad sharp. Suggestions?

Steve, you might need to check the bellcrank to see if it is cracked which can cause it to give and not pull far enough. As you keep tuning the nylon tuner more it keeps breaking more and you finally have the nylon tuner overtuned and the raise starts affecting it also. Check the bellcrank and back the nylon tuner way out and start overtuning the lowering nut. Oops, after re-reading it seem that you indicate both strings are not lowering enough. Not likely for two bellcranks to be broken. It seems that somehow the lever stop has changed not allowing quite enough lever travel. You need to check to see if a little more travel will correct it.
