What is the thickness you builders use for the standard PSG case? I'm going to build some split cases for my old Permanent and I can't find anything to fit the guitar with those handles on it and I'm not taking them off. They are a part of it and they're handy to have on there too. So any help here from one you builders and I mean any help would be greatly appreciated. Now if you know of a set that would fit a permanent it's got to be no less than 37 1/2 inches for the inside width. The actual dimensions are 36-12-5 so I need a little wiggle room if you just happen to have some that might fit. That's just the guitar case. The legs, rods and pedal rack case will be about the usual size maybe an extra inch or so. It has the old style wide pedals. Call or text me at 615-593-1702

The two piece set I built for my Franklin D-10 is made from 3/8" Baltic Birch plywood. Covered with Black Tolex.

Franklin's, like Sho-Bud's have the neck selector switch on the end so allowances had to be made for the switch.

Baltic Birch is a little sturdier than standard plywood. Weight is probably similar (I haven't compared actual weight).
