I bought this head and cabinet separately and never used them together since the head wants to see 4 ohms and the cabinet is 8 ohms, but they look good together so I put them in the same listing! Maybe someone has a 4 ohm 15" speaker???
'69 Fender Bassman in very good condition. All original transformers. Amp has just been serviced and has a nice matched pair of brown base Mesa Boogie STR420 output tubes (heavy duty 6L6GC's). This amp is putting out a solid 50 watts on the scope and sounds great. Missing the back panel, otherwise no issues.
Bassman head is $575 plus actual shipping or local pickup.
The speaker cabinet is not a Fender but sure looks like it with the faded Fender silver & blue grill cloth, chrome hardware, handle and logo. Solid plywood construction (no MDF) and a heavy duty, cast frame, large magnet 15" speaker. No label or codes anywhere on the speaker but it works and sounds great. Lighter than a usual Fender cabinet. Casters on the bottom.
Cabinet is $150 local pickup
I travel around the midwest quite a bit so delivery or meeting somewhere is possible. I am in SW Michigan.
Thanks for looking!

FWIW you can run the Bassman through a 8 ohm cabinet, it will sound fine and still be plenty loud.
The older Fender amps are pretty tolerant of an impedance mismatch as long as it isn't too extreme. |

Thanks for the info. I did test the Bassman through the cabinet and it did sound great. |
