Selling an original SIB Fat Drive tube based clean boost pedal. Like all SIB pedals (and I've had an original Echo Drive and an original Vari Drive), this is a little bulky measuring about 7 by 4.5 inches and runs off of AC only. Why AC? Because the pedal runs off of interchangeable tubes and there's no 9 volt battery that's going to push these tubes. When my hearing was better (yes, it sucks to get get old) I used it to warm up the tone of solid state amps like an Evans I had and a Nashville 112 I now use. Right now it has a Russian AX7 in there but I've used other tubes in it to get softer effect. I'll throw in a collection of other tubes so you can play around with it and see what sound pleases you most (they all worked when I used them but who knows now-they've been sitting in my pac a seat; some I even bought specially selected/tested for best performance).
I don't think SIB is around anymore as SIBFX.com goes no where and I've not seen a Fat Drive for sale in a very long time. That's my basis for saying it's rare. Plus it's an original from way back. Yes, it's true by-pass and made with high quality jacks and components. It even still has the little rubber feet of the originals. You can't see it from the pictures but there's a switch on the left side to add brightness to output.

Asking $200 and I'll pay reasonable shipping.

What a coincidence!

I’m thinking of putting my SIB Echodrive up for sale. It’s the best delay I’ve ever used but it is big and bulky. That said, this tube—driven pedal sounds wonderful.

Yes, big and bulky but a fun tube delay pedal. At least it's smaller than a echopplex and just as rewarding, or almost. Is yours red or blue vintage ?
