My Steelaire has developed a problem with the mode switch.
If I carefully move the switch between ch1 and ch2 it will make a connection,( the light will flash). It appears that the problem us in the switch because the connection is lost when I let go the switch.

I have tried moving the switch back and forward through its range but this has'nt helped. It is 2&a1/2 years old.

Have any other Steeelaire owners had this problem or can any tech savvey members offer any suggestions.

Thanks for any comments.
Warren Johnston.

I had that problem. It appears they got some bad switches. They quickly replaced the whole head, no questions asked. I was not the original owner and the unit was out of warranty. They never asked, just wanted to make it right.

Hit them up with a call or email, and they will fix you up. I was very pleased with the customer service.

Let us know how it works out. I think you will be happy with the response.
