Hello,
I bought this about 10 years ago and it has sat in my music room since. I never invested the time to learn to play it and just stuck with the instruments I already play and due to health reasons, I need to sell it. However, I have no idea of it's value and want to make someone a fair price on it. If you can help me with the value of this or would be interested in it, please let me know. It comes with a dust cover and a hard case although the case works and is solid, has seen better days. I just dusted it off and took the pictures. To sell it properly, I would have removed the strings and cleaned the pickup area well and all but I didn't want it to look like something was wrong and that's why it didn't have strings. I'm sure a setup and I know new strings are in order. I have more detailed picts as well but I may need to make another post as it looks like I can only post three. If I should do another post showing closer details, please let me know. Overall, it is beautiful in my opinion. Some scratches on the chrome parts and there are two small nicks/dents or indentions on the left rear to me looks like the wood is still fine but it is the laquer. Like I'll get with my guitars. not mint but very good condition. I have a pict of the dents/nicks but I wasn't able to load anymore.
Thanks to the great help of the site, I have priced it at what I feel should be a good buy for someone. I will make a donation to the site and ask the buyer to cover Paypal fees if Paypal is used. If shipping is required, shipping/inshurance fees covered by buyer. Since I do not play steel, I cannot cannot gaurantee anything on this guitar. Thank you for understanding.

| I didn't even realize the small nick in the laquer on the farthest left by the chrome until I zoomed in on the pict and went back to the guitar to look. It as well is in the laquer but I didn't see it until it came out in the picture. These are magnified so much. more picts of this area can be taken if requested. Thanks |

Very nice axe, and in great shape for a lacquer guitar!
I think $2200 would probably be a fair starting price. Some dealers would ask more, and some private sellers might ask less. It all depends on how fast you want to sell it. (I'd be proud to own it.) |

That is a nice lacquer body MSA which are usually considered more desirable than mica MSA guitars.. Donny is about right on pricing, but it all depends on the day/week/month you try to sell... If you post it here and it doesn't sell, lower the price ... Its only as valuable as the price people are willing to pay.
I have seen stuff sold here in minutes because it was priced very attractively, and have seen other stuff languish for months and remain unsold because the seller was simply asking more than people are willing to pay.. Start pricing at what you really want for it.. If you don't get any interest, start lowering it until you do, and thats pretty much what its worth... bob

Update: I was told it was missing a pull rod and possibly a bracket and am attaching more pictures. The laquer is not checked or cracked that I see but I do see a few more small blemishes that I didn't notice first. it depends a lot on the angle of the light. I am attaching additional picts. between the two necks, there is an area where real small dings or places where someone possibly put the bar? I am enlarging this area as much as possible. I want someone to be very happy with this and expect a good condition and well cared for guitar but not mint condition. most all areas I see if not all can be fixed with a laquer touch up. It it beautiful. I am having trouble attaching additional pictures at this time. I will try again later but I can text them if someone would want me to. When I looked in the case to see if a rod was in it, I found a volume pedal I forgot about. I haven't been in the case since I bought it years ago and put the guitar n my music room. The volume pedal is included.
I realize I am not know on the site as I joined to get info on the value of this guitar. However, I have been on Facebook for several years under my name and my home town Okmulgee, Oklahoma so you can see that I am real, not a made up name to just sell a guitar. Thank you |

| Still having problems attaching more pictures but the pull rod that is missing can be seen on the under carriage picture already attached. If you count down 7 rows down you will see the one missing pull rod and right next to it the place where one person thought a bracket may be missing where there once was two screws. However, after looking at the entire under carriage i see a lot of the same type screws and do not see where any brackets were ever attached. They just are screws i believe holding to the (what i would call on a guitar as a fret board but no frets). I can see the one missing pull rod and do not believe a bracket is missing. I can text pictures to anyone wanting to see this. Both ends where the pull rod attaches to are present. Thank you |
