When I had a rack system, the ProfexII was my main source of effects, and I loved it. Considering how old it is, though, there may be other rack units that are better...maybe even much better. But you won't be paying $100 bucks, or so, for them.
Unless you are one of those people who has to have the latest cutting edge equipment, you would do just fine with the Profex II...just be sure it has the batteryless mod.
