I have an older Evans DP2R (made in Shreveport back in the day) that has a large transformer about midway in the power cord. I spoke with Derrell Stephens who said that these were larger than was needed years ago but it is too big and heavy to put in a rack. I am sure mine is one of the old low voltage units. I would like to get a smaller shielded transformer (power supply) for my preamp. I spoke with Scott at Evans and they dont work on the older units anymore. I would appreciate any help on how to see what I have and posibley get a smaller power supply unit with the correct voltage or amperage.

Thanks

Danny

I have the same pre-amp and am interested in this as well. The power supply is huge!
