The next SouthEast Texas Steel Guitar club meeting in Katy will be on Sunday Feb 5 2:00pm. The building will be open at 1:30pm for setup. (We are meeting a little earlier due to Super Bowl).
We will meet at Life Church which is located at 26189 Westheimer Parkway in Katy.
Featured Player:
No particular player. Bring your steels & jam.
We will have a jam time for those who bring their steel guitars. You are also welcome to bring any licks to share.
If you only have 2-3 prepared songs. we can arrange for a short featured spot just let us know.
Directions to the LIFE Church building are:
From I-10 W (Katy) :
Take the exit for Pin Oak Rd ( Katy Mills Mall - exit 740 I think? )
Take Pin Oak Rd. south.
Pin Oak Rd will turn into Westheimer Parkway
Take Westheimer down to Life Church @ 26189 Westheimer Parkway on the right
Park your car in the back parking lot and enter the youth room through the back door. You can also park in the front. Usually one of the doors on the left is unlocked.
(PS - No smoking on church property)

HEY BILLY AND PATTY I LOVE TO BE THERE TO HEAR ALL
THAT GOOD STEEL PLAYING , BUT I WILL BE PLAYING
IN CHURCH AND THE TIME CHURCH IS OVER I WILL HAVE TO
FIGHT THE HOUSTON'S TRAFFIC , WHICH IS TERRIBLE AND
MAKES IT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO MAKE THE SHOW ON TIME .
FOR YOU GUYS THAT LIVE CLOSER BE SURE TO MAKE THE
SHOW AND HEAR SOME FINE PICKING
