Im considering rebuilding a custom guitar (D10)which would include a new cabinet using solid tonewood. If a keep the underside flat the deck would be 1"(front)and 3/4"(back). Is stepping the deck so both necks are 3/4" better for resonance? Any thoughts appreciated.
