We had a great time last Sunday in Victoria! David Hubenak from Wallis, Tx. was our featured player. David did a great job playing with his backing tracks. He played one of my favorites, Will's Point.
We had only 3 steels there - David, Doug Elverud, and and mine, but we had a good little audience of listeners. I think we will be growing as word gets around.
Thanks also to our great band - David Waters, Randall Edwards, and Larry Shoppe. We had a good mixture of vocals from Larry, Doug, and Willie Funderburk. Thanks also to our fill-in drummer, Clint Herzer, for being there to help me set up.
Looking forward to February's meeting. We will have a meeting in March, since our meeting is late in the month and Dallas is early.

It was a fun time for sure, and thanks for the hospitality. It is always great to get together with great musicians and jam. Wonderful group of folks who came out to listen. I will do my best to make the next one. Great report.
