I play steel guitar, in a large church.
I'm wondering if any players use a wireless
system for their steel guitar. I'd like to use
my amp and also use wireless, into the sound system. |

Wireless is only an advantage for players who move around.
Call me dense, but what is the advantage of adding a radio transmitter and a radio receiver to the signal chain? _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

Darrel, I am assuming one of two things... there is no connection for the amp to sound system, or you are trying to eliminate a cable on the stage.
Most wireless systems are Hi-Z, i.e. 1/4" connections. It can work, but levels may be hard to set, especially if going from the amp to the sound system. _________________ Amateur Radio Operator NA4IT (Extra)

I may, in fact, be nuts. However, I am screwed onto the right bolt... Jesus! |

I think he wants to go from his steel to his amp and also from his steel to the sound system simultaneously (presumably to use the amp just as an onstage monitor). |

There are cabled solutions for that from Radial like a JDX. It goes between your amp and your speaker and then provides a line to the PA. And there is the issue of other air systems bleeding into your performance unless you get something real pro.

But if your PA connect is not further away than 50 feet this wireless system might help without being too costly:
