This is an early one, perhaps 1950. Asking 1200.00 with one of my stands for playing standing since the original legs are only long enough for sitting. Everything is in good shape...the case still has the embossed Gibson plate.
I made the knobs since the old ones were not on it when I got it 10 years ago....

Here it is on the stand, it's nice because you don't have to alter the steel for the adjustable legs _________________ www.deluxe34.com lap steel stands, Clinesmith, Gibson Console Grande, Northwesterns, The Best Westerns

Nice guitar and good job with the knobs, but I'm pretty sure the original knobs were the same as those on a Les Paul and replacements are available in many music stores, so if someone wanted to make the instrument look more "original" it could be done. I owned one like this back in the 60's. Nice guitar. |
