It's taken a bit of time to get this together, but our first gathering of the Denver Steel Guitar Social Club will be on Saturday afternoon, July 12th from 2:00 to 5:00PM, at the Park House, 1515 Madison Street, which is the NW corner of Colfax and Madison. This is a FREE event...
2:00 to 3:00PM Social Hour--order some food and drinks and get to know new friends
3:00 to 4:00PM Daniel Jones and Standard Deviations will play for us
4:00 to 5:00PM Socializing and networking
I will also be showing my recording studio located on the premises.
The emphasis on this is social--so many of us never get to see each other so this is a great way to do this and meet other players. There will be no dues, and this is in no way competition to the Denver Steel Show that Chuck and Bob are doing such a great job with--this is all about community.
The Park House is very generously letting us meet there at no charge, so I do ask we support them by having lunch and drinks there--the food is awesome and they have a great bar...and the owners are true music fans and supporters.
I hope to do this on the second Saturday of every month, with different artists, jams and instruction during the middle hour. Please come out and support this and forward this this to anyone you know that might be interested.

Kinda fizzled out but Bob Case and I had a long talk a few days ago about reviving it...
