There has been some discussion here about the 22 pound, 200 watt and now discontinued ZT Club amp. I have 2 of these and find them useful for practicing and rehearsing at low volume. But I prefer the Quilter for performing. The club was designed for rock guitarists who want some crunch in their sound, although you can get a clean sound out of them.

The company has been sold, and the new owners are coming out with a new version of the amp, designed for jazz guitarists who want a clean sound. This version of the amp does not have the built in crunch circuit of the older Clubs. This may turn out to be a good steel amp.

ZT is located in Berkley, CA, (400 miles from me.) A local player who currently plays the old Club is going to evaluate the amp. It will be interesting to hear his opinion of it.
