Jacob got a blue Encore this morning and was very surprised. He loves it and it sounds great. Big thanks to Doug Earnest, it was a pleasure doing business.

Here is a short clip of how it sounds. Playing in my metal shop which has a weird sound but you can still hear how good the tone is.

Great guitars, but Jacob's playing is pretty great too.

Very well done.

Great touch and volume pedal technique. Jacob will be a great player. He already shows confidence and authority.

It's been great to see Jacob grow into the player he has become, from all the clips you've shared, Jason! Yes, he's sounds better each time. Looks like he's very comfortable playing a single neck, too? Merry Christmas!

Thanks guys. I'm so impressed with this guitar. He played it all day and loves how smooth it is. He was playing through a 1978 twin that's been split and a 15in black widow. No effects other than fender reverb.

John. Fender twin that's split. Zero pedal lowers 3&6 half step. Pickup is the humbucker Doug has custom made that comes on the guitar

Outstanding Jason, I wish I could play half that good. Maybe when I get my Encore I can. hahaha. Keep it up, you may just be the next Buddy Emmons, or Jeff Newman.

I have nearly the identical guitar. Only difference is I have the trutone in mine.

Amazing steels, I have zero regrets about my purchase.

Also, merry christmas and what an amazing present.

In this world where most youngsters music is hip-hop and such, I am impressed that there are still young people interested in country-western music and pedal steel! Good going, Jacob! (I liked your playing, too!)

The hip hop music, doesn't bother me as much as laptops, tablet, cell phone, iPad"s, iPods, and etc. Most young kids, today, can't put their electronic gadgets down, long enough, to learn a musical instrument. I really applaud him. His parents need to be very proud.

Should have added XBoxes to this, but I think everyone get the idea.

Jacob is lucky to have such a great parent. Cool to hear that he's clearly taking it seriously too.

Thanks Karl. He is a good boy and I'm just trying to feed the fire. I bought him good equipment, his teacher is a great player (Mike McGee) and person, and he loves it and studies it and plays everyday. Just doing my job.lol
