A ’73 Sho Bud Pro 1 3 Pedals 1 Knee Lever Serial#4330
Model 6139 round front from the early 70s
Grovers tuners on a Gumby headstock… Wider pedals,

Baskets and barrels string pulls. Very simplistic and dependable mechanics. It's outstanding feature is it's ability for "infinite" raises and lowers. That little switch at the end plate is for changing the tone.

Easy to work on, and this plays and stays in tune EXTREMELY well.

$1400 plus shipping

Dana,

Nice looking Bud!! It looks like it was very well kept. That's called a Coil Tap pickup. It looks like it could have started out as a C6th tuned - 6 pedal and no knee levers. I've seen where Shobud did make a few of them.

Al

What do you mean by "infinite" raise and lowers?

Jeff, imagine 20 full length rods through the racks.. Each rack has two rows of 10 holes, 2 per string, one above the other (20 total per rack). Add a barrel behind it, and it'll raise or lower the string. hope this helps... Smile

It's a model 6140 with 3 pedals removed as Al observed. It may have been a C6 guitar but they did come set up for E9 as well. My '73 6140 did when I bought it new. Also they sometimes had a knee lever or two. Mine had 6+2 and it was stock from a dealer.

Super nice-looking steel.
