I don't know if this even exists, but I'd like to find a "little" 8 or 10-channel mixer where each channel has it's own send & return jacks. Big mixers do, but the smaller Samson, Peavey, Behringer mixers all sum the "returns" together. It's to control a looping rig, (loop the loop) and it would work a LOT better if it exists. There are "switchers" to route effect pedals around, but they don't have volume or pan controls. |

I have not looked at mixers of late. In the past there were several that had insert points on each channel. While not exactly what you are asking for they may provide a solution.

A lot of small mixers have dual circuit I/O 1/4" jacks on each channel. Input and out put on the same jack, sharing a common ground. I tried running my volume pedal and effects that way, but didn't like it.
It uses a cable setup like this... can be had from most larger music stores...

I may, in fact, be nuts. However, I am screwed onto the right bolt... Jesus! |
