I've been tracking this guy for a while, only 23 years of age.

I didn't actually know he had an account here...doesn't have a password though. I have been notified that will be changed.

Anyway, here's Mike Hukezalie playing a great cover of Gary Carter's "The Lighthouse Tale". I'm sure Gary would be very proud of his effort.

Definitely deserves more views than 7.

Great job Mike and only playing a year. I'm receiving my Justice Pro Lite 3/5 in May, new to PSG but have been playing music for 50+ years (banjo, dobro and guitar). Would appreciate the practice routine you've followed to get up to speed so quickly.
Thanks

Nice job Mike!

Is that a purchased backing track? I would like to tackle The Lighthouse's Tale myself.

Below is the video for the original from Nickel Creek. This song was from their album with that title, released in 2000. Side trivia: we've been discussing the new album from Alison Krauss this week - Alison was the producer of the first Nickel Creek record. I saw the band play live for the first time in San Francisco shortly after the album was released - they just killed it - the crowd was blown away.

Nice scenery in the video, check out the lyrics so that you can get the gist of the song. In posts I've come across over the last few years discussing Gary Carter's beautiful version I have at times gotten the impression that some folks think he wrote the tune. Nope.

Beautifully done Mr. Mike! You are mature well beyond your time you've spent on this instrument. PS - has a steep learning curve. You have the "touch". You play with control and passion. You're either a prodigy or you put the work and time in playing it. Either way, you make that PS sing.
