I've been reading many a thread about these little amps heads.
The common pattern seems to be that they sound quite good for steel, but stop functioning decently after a few years.

BUT Maybe they are in fact reliable units??

I have used GK combos (for bass) a fair amount, and have no complaints.
I'm interested in the mb200 for steel, but am wary of the undeniable quantity of user's who have had problems....

Rock solid for me.

Just be aware that they are not currently manufactured.

We still have one and it is working OK. I used it for steel about a year and then my wife has been using it for at least 5 years (maybe more) with a 12" speaker for rhythm guitar.

Its one of the older models as it has combo Speakon/1/4" jack for speaker. Newer models only have Speakon speaker connection.

I had one for a couple of years with no problems. I put it in a closet for three or four months. It was dead when I tried to use it again.

I initially bought it for bass, but in recent years I've been using it for steel once a week. Never a problem. Seems to be a very solid, well-made amp.
