Ahhh. Thanks Jim. That makes sense. So is this Emmons really an original 1964 stereo version as the decal on front would seem to indicate? I wonder given it was owned by Bobbe.

Initially, the SGHOF Board (FYI, I'm no longer a member of the Board) used to make two of each and give one plaque to the recipient, until that became too costly, since those things weigh something like 80 pounds and cost over $2500 apiece. Later the recipient was offered the opportunity to purchase a full plaque if they'd like to. I'm sure Bobbe chose to get one, some inductees did not.

| There must be two HOF plaques and two Emmons steels, because when I was in Nashville a couple weeks ago the plaque was there and the Emmons push-pull that Bobbe owned and played at the shop. |

It is a cut tail. Not a 64. Looks just like Bobbe's guitar to me.

The decal is not an original decal. It's a decal that was created by Bobbe that was never an official Emmons decal. Emmons never put a horizontal line under the name. I got a couple of them from Bobbe back in the 80's.
