I was at the right place, at the right time back in August when Todd offered this guitar for sale. Here's the link with pictures.

Now, I need to sell this AMAZING guitar. It has been played less than 8 hours since I got it and is in the same condition.
Same deal--$1400 plus shipping.
Just have to say Todd is a brilliant luthier and a fine person. This one hurts...but I am gladdened by the knowledge that someone will get a "dream guitar." |

Are you selling this used guitar for the same price it sold for as new? |

Nathan,
If you read the thread that Geoff linked, you'll see that Todd originally offered it as a used demo, not a new guitar. A new custom aluminum Clinesmith would be a bit more. I hope I get to own one someday, new or used. |

A new blade pickup cast aluminum 8 is $1700, or at least it was when I bought mine.
Absolutely fantastic guitars, nothing else like it. I also have a horseshoe version and like it just as much. This is a great deal, save $300 and no wait. |

Thanks all. To be clear...I bought this "demo" guitar from Todd in August, via the SGF. The guitar is EXACTLY as Todd described and as I received it from him (it is set up for C6th). It was, and is, a great deal for anyone who wants to get a Clinesmith for a great and fair price. In fact, in the spirit of the season, I'm gonna reduce the price to $1300 + shipping!!
Merry Everything!! |

I would bet the Farm that this guitar cost more to make than it sold for. Gorgeous instrument. |
