What digital delays are available that have a beats per minute adjustment and a number of repeats setting, both shown on a read out, so user can dial in 3 repeats @ 120 bpm? Example would be 1/16 notes @ 120 bpm which could be dialed before playing. I have seen the tap tempo boxes without a readout but they aren't very programmable beforehand. Larry

Having control over the number of delays can be tough. I don't know of any delay pedals that will give you a specific number of repeats at the full volume you choose. They all seem to trail off in volume.

I've done it in the past though with Eventide Pitchfactor and Timefactor pedals together. If you use the Quadravox setting on the Pitchfactor (or H9) you can set the harmonies to unison and get up to four repeats at full volume with no trailing off. In cases where I wanted more repeats I'd just set the Timefactor to the same bpm and space them out in a way that created more repeats.

Here's a cool digital delay to check out. I've never used one but it has a cool look. http://www.freethetone.com/en/products/effects/ft1y.html

Erv: About $430 at Reverb.com. I also found a Boss DD-500. It looks & sounds awesome for $500 at Musicians Friend/Guitar Center. YouTube demo vids for both if you Google them. Too many to list here....LR
