This is a little late,,,didn't quite get it finished soon enough. This is a 10 string keyless lap steel, details can be seen here

http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=310196

This is really a nice, compact little 10 string, great for travel or grab and go.

I would normally ask $500 plus shipping on this guitar,,,but in the spirit of Christmas I will do $450 SHIPPED!,,,that's about a $100 savings. I can do paypal,,and I could ship by Friday if necessary,,otherwise it will be Tuesday before I can ship. Thanks for looking and a very Merry Christmas to my forum brothers!!!!

What a Great Guitar at an impressively low price.

Sonny's Instruments are worth 2 or 3 times what he sells them for.

I've been big fan ever since he started making them -- they get better every build!
Remember the Red one Rick Alexander bought at Dallas?

Someone is getting a very merry gift this year.

Best Regards from GeorgeBoards.

Hi Sonny. That guitar is a thing of beauty.
Questions:

What scale length?
What 10 string pickup?
What are the distances between strings, at bridge and at nut?
On the keyless lap, would that make it slower to change your tuning? Can you just rump-ump a string to a different pitch a step or two away, like on standard tuners?

Thanks. Again, gorgeous work.
John

Hey John,,thanks for the interest! These are questions I should have addressed in the post.

Scale is 22 1/2" guitar is just under 27" overall. The pick up is one I had, probably got it in a trade sometime,,,looks like a Wallace tru-tone, not sure. String spacing is a tad under 3/8" (.3437)at bridge (total from 1st to 10th string at bridge is 3 3/32"),,,,tuning fingers are 5/16". Of course it wouldn't be as fast as grabbing a machine head, but with the little hex wrench that I provide it takes very little turning to move the pitch considerably.

Thanks again for the interest!
