I always liked Buddys version of Hold It but wished it was longer so I had a little fun with a music edit program and here are the results

Was Buddy playing dobro on this (starts at 1:22) or was this an effect?
Anyway thanks!

If this is the ca. 1971 version with Shot from "The two Aces together Sho-Budding Again" - I'm sure Buddy just picked up Shot's seven string Sho-Bro and cut it on the fly. In the Union book Emmons listed his instruments as DBR STL. At one point (mid 70's?) the Dobro had come back into style on recordings.
