Hmmm...my guess would be late Feb. to early Mar., 1974.

(How'd I do, Reece? )

Smike....It's my pleasure to answer your question. Serial number 1C2139 shows to be a white single 12 which left the factory with five pedals and 4 knee levers and was originally shipped to a store called Baca Music. Thanks for providing an MSA a good home.

It was born on March 8th 1974. (at 4:26 PM)....ha....bet Donny didn't know that. Donny you never cease to amaze me.

thanks for the info... well, it isn't white any more!

tom bradshaw completely rebuilt it, using a hunk of wood i think he referred to as 'austrailian ironbark'... apparently very very hard stuff.

it now has ball-bearing nut rollers, 5 knee levers, a new (old/mystery) pickup, and is natural wood color (stained), with satin/steel trim all around.

i will post pics when i return from visiting my folks, in l.a.

thanks again!

bruce
