I recently picked up one of these and really love it.
However... for some reason the battery is activated by the line Output and not the line Input (like every other pedal I've ever seen.)
I'd really prefer having it on top next to the tone knob - so much easier to remove the jack that way (and maybe I wouldn't keep forgetting to do it - you know... out of sight, out of mind.)
Is there any reason why this couldn't be simply reversed? I'd hate to fry it and have to hunt down another one. _________________ Sho~Bud Super Pro, Fender Concert, NV400, Orange, (LP's, Tele's, Gretsch, Burns, etc...) |

My 6A was that way, it didn't have an off/on switch like the 7A.
I added a switch, now I don't have to unplug a thing. |

My MatchBro is "powered on" by the input jack. I added a power switch (in series with the internal power switching). I can leave cables plugged in and power it on/off with the power switch.
Goodrich left the power switch off of many of their designs. I had a MatchBox (before getting the MatchBro) and I added a switch to it too. |
