On an MSA SS Classic, what is the name of the part that connects the rod to the bell crank? It has a set screw that you tighten rod down with. Is it a barrel nut?
Most importantly, where can I buy one or four? I have had no luck at the hardware stores.

I just bought some of those and a bunch of other MSA parts from Wayne Link at Linkon Guitars up in Canada. Really nice guy and good prices.
You can find his website in the "Links" section... |

Rocco, call Wayne Link at 204-895-0115 and explain it to him. He knows what it's called and when you find out would you post it here. He's very reasonable on his prices and they are of excellent quality.

Hi Rocco,
In the MSA Owners Manuals this part was referred to as a 'Pull Pin' or 'Brass Pull Pin'.
This was MSA's 'nomenclature', as this particular part design for 'pull-rod confinement' was exclusive to MSA guitars.
Incidentally, what we commonly refer to as 'bell cranks' were called 'Pullers' in the owners manual.
