When I played through my old Session 500 at church, I played guitar through it too, with good results. I have a video of Jazz/Country guitar player Clint Strong that was made a few years ago, and he was playing a Les Paul through two Session 500's.

I don't have a Session 400 or 500 anymore but I do have a Nashville 400 which I use sometimes with my Telecaster. I mainly use a Fender DeVille 2-12 on guitar but if I have to do a large venue and we aren't able to mike the amps I use the Nashville as it covers a large area better with no distortion whatsoever (unless I want it)..JH
