What does everyone think of the Blackbox for Steelguitar? Kind of thinking about one.

I bought one several years ago and never really found any use for it. I was told after I bought it that since I have a Hilton volume pedal and not a pot volume pedal that I wouldn't notice a difference. I hear it is great with pot volume pedals but I haven't ever pair the black box up with it so I don't really know if it sweetens the sound. All that said if you are still interested and have a pot volume pedal I have one I could probably part with since I never use it.
