That was fantastic. Looks like the Pastor was feeling what he was singing. Listen to the words of this song written by the late Rusty Goodman. Rusty was a good singer and a powerful song writer who wrote some of the biggest hits in Gospel music. I would hope there would be some songs these men did together.

Oh my goodness. I just saw where this was posted. Thank-you everyone for your kind words. I was very honored to play this for my pastor. October was Pastor appreciation month and he told me that he wanted me to bring my steel up and play this song. After I played it as an instrumental he told me to play it again so he could sing it. As long as I have been playing steel guitar I have got to say that this is one of the highest points of my career. Pastor Ward sure did a great job singing. Thank-you once again for all the kind words. I am truly a blessed man.

Great playing Robert. Pastor Ward did an excellent job on this song. You're blessed to be in a church like that. I agree with Paul , Rusty was one of the all time greats and left this world way to early. I miss all of The Goodmans.

I sit down this morning and there are several videos of Pastor Ward on YouTube. Man, he can sure sing and very well. He also sings what I like best, good country gospel.
