Mechanics experts please help with an E9 problem.
I swapped around my copendent so my two E levers are on my right knee. RKL is my E flat lever, and my RKR is my F lever. I did this on Thanskgiving day, and everything was going great. Yesterday I adjusted my RKR lever to allow a bit more room for my big ol' knees, and now I cannot get that lever to return to pitch. So when I hit that lever the note bends form E to F but retuns well sharp of E. When I hit my RKL to E Flat, it will correct the pitch and the string returns to E...
Any Ideas how to fix this? Is my Knee lever travel set up too short??
Thanks.

Probably just a minor adjustment problem. First off- what kind of guitar is it???Most likely adjusting the return springs will solve the problem. If that don't work call me at 1-800-749-3363. Ed Naylor Steel Guitar Works.

Thanks Ed. Its a mid 70's MSA D 10 Classic and it seems there is no return tension when I hit the lever... A shot spring??

Hey Grant, since you've just switched the levers on Thanksgiving day would you consider reversing them so the lowers are on your RKR and the raises on the RKL. That's the more common way to do it when they're on the right knee especially if you play a U-12. The reasoning is if you have to hold the lever for an extended period of time you can do it better by pushing out with your knee as opposed to a pulling motion when going to the left. Also it might be OK when you do that and you won't have to re-adjust them......Have a good 'un..JH

I had adjusted the fulcrum out of whack.
All fixed!
