I have a Show Bud Volume pedal that produces a lot of static. It seems like it could possibly use some lubricant, but what do I use and how/where do I apply it?

You'd need to take the back off the potentiometer and apply some Caig Deoxit or a contact cleaner/lubricant to the track and wiper. It's not hard, but you need to be careful because you can ruin the pot.
I believe there are youtube videos of how to do it.
Some might suggest just replacing the pot.
