Hey Joe.
I just contacted Jason Odd about the poster. He knows more about west coast country music than anyone I'm familiar with. A true researcher and archivist.

Well, Laman was an old hillbilly/western singer from the west coast, and I just figured he might have been a steelplayer-turned-singer...like Buck Owens? Of course, that would mean that the poster for sale had a typo, but that wouldn't be the first time they screwed up someone's name in an advertisement. Laughing
