Hello All, a friend of mine and I are two of the biggest Shot fans the world has known.
We were wondering if anyone remembers or knows what tunings Shot used on his lap steel in the 50’s recordings he did behind Kitty Wells.
We believe his Dobro guitar tuning was E B G# E B G# or E Major. And for some unknown reason we assumed that he would use the same tuning on the lap steel or maybe a tuning of E6 or E9.
Any help would be appreciated. Duane and Gord.
