Anyone have a changer for a Dekley guitar. I just bought a Dekley and set it up but the 6 strings defines 15 cent flat when I press the a or c pedals. I'm gonna try to check everything again before I take it apart but I think I may just need a new changer |

I seriously doubt that it's the changer itself. I was the Dekley plant manager and to this day have never heard of one wearing out or going bad.
Check for any rubbing between the 5th and 6th string changer fingers, tighten the 6th string string return spring, and lube and adjust as needed.
Make sure you have the right string gauges too. I once worked on a Carter that John Fabian had reversed the 5th and 6th strings on when he strung it up. It took me forever to figure out why it wouldn't tune up right. _________________ Jim Smith

Make sure the pedal rack is attached without any wiggling! _________________ Steeltronics Z-pickup,Desert Rose S-10 4+5,Desert Rose Keyless S-10 3+5...
