While I am a diehard fan of 6 string PSG and fully support the use of them for beginners, I also realize the 2 "chromatic" strings have their uses. (Actually the Eb is the chromatic string while the F# is the 9th but you probably already knew that.)

That said, a beginner probably ought to be focused on learning the basics before spending too much time on this stuff (come on, you know it's true Smile ), but it's good to know the info even if you are not using it right now.

Thanks a lot to Paul Sutherland who put the time and effort into these videos and was good enough to share them with us all.
