Hey guys Ive been busy the last several yrs and haven't had the time to visit. The day job has kept me busy, not playing much anymore. Here in Joplin the music scene as far as country goes is DEAD. Casinos only want rock , funk and blues. So I'm going to call it a wash. I will be posting pics of my 2006 Mullen RP d10 8-5 and road rig system. This is made up of Peavey tweed custom 115 extension cabs loaded with black widow 1503-8 full range shallow baskets. Also a 10space shock mount flight case, loaded with a furman power conditioner, aleiess, Quadraverb gt , korg digital tuner,Lexicon mx 300 , Aleisess compressor. Revelation tube preamp, and a crown XTI 2000 watt stereo amp with programmable cd and manuals. Steelers choice seat , Hilton pedal all cables bars, strings ect... Will post pics and price soon. ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Sounds to me like Dan's life will no longer include pedal steel. _________________ Mark |

Hey guys, yea I know it really sucks to consider letting my rig go. I have had no time for music and country is dead here in Joplin. It took me 18yrs to put my system together. I need to raise some cash to lighten the bills. I used to gig all the time, big shows , casinos, clubs ect.. You can see me on you tube in a video . Its Caleb Mc Entire the song is called Redneck In All of us. I have received many compliments on my rig from some of the most important soundmen in the industry. I just cant find any good pickers . Even if I could, there are no jobs . We just lost another venue last week.Casinos don't want traditional country, only rock funk and blues . As a utility player I just cant bring myself to go back to that. ![Confused](images/smiles/icon_confused.gif) |
